Free Sports Psychology Event for Players

This Saturday, May 18th, Roanoke City Little League has an event for our Middle School Players. Antonio Bolden, a Licensed Professional Counselor, will be speaking to our kids about mindfulness, stress management and controlling our emotions both in the game of baseball and in our lives. What Antonio has to share and the exercises he will lead us through will help your son in the game of baseball, but will also, more importantly, help him grow as a young man.

It will be at 6:30pm at the offices of Christ Our Redeemer Community Church, in the Jefferson Center (541 Luck Ave SW, Suite 140). There will be desserts served. This event is geared towards Middle Schoolers, but all are welcome.

My son and I had the pleasure of attending a talk Antonio gave this past winter. I thought what he had to share was great for both me and my 13 year old and I wanted others to experience it. Baseball has so much to teach us about life and can, if used right, prep these boys to be leaders in our community. I think this event will help these young men grow.
