2026 All Stars

One of the benefits of being a part of Little League International is that some of our players can participate in All Stars. Players that make an All Star team will participate in a District Tournament, and if the team wins that tournament, they will get to participate in a State Tournament. Players for All Star teams are selected by the Roanoke City Little League Board and the coaches of that All Star team. Players are chosen based off of ability and availability. Players need to be able make 90% of team practices and all of the District (and potentially State) Tournament games.

Signing up does not guarantee your child will make an All Star team. The Board and All Star coaches will seek feedback from regular season coaches.

Cost: If your child makes the team, you will be asked to pay $60. There are scholarships available, we do not want finances to be a barrier to anyone participating in All Stars.

The plan is to field a 10u and 12u All Star team. If there are enough eligible players signed up, we will try and field a 11u team. It is also possible we could field a 16u team.

The following are the dates of District and State Tournaments for each age group:

10u- District Tournament will be June 29th-July 1st, the State Tournament will be in Front Royal, VA starting on July 16th

11u- District Tournament will be July 9th-11th, the State Tournament will be in Purcellville, VA starting on July 16th

12u- District Tournament will be July 6th-8th, the State Tournament will be in Fairfax, VA starting on July 16th

16u- The State Tournament will be in Coeburn starting July 9th

10u All Stars

2026 Spring Season

We look forward to this upcoming season! Please note that your child's "league age" is determined by how old they will be on August 31st, 2026. For example, if your child turns 9 on July 16th, they are considered to be 9 for this upcoming Little League season and would be placed in the "Minors Division". The following are the breakdown of which ages play in which divisions for the upcoming season:

Tee Ball: 5 and 6 year olds

Coach Pitch: 6-8 year olds
League Age 6-year-olds that have already played at least one season of Tee Ball are eligible to play in this division.

Minors: 9-10 year olds
"Player Pitch"
Base paths 46' pitching mound and 60' base paths.
League Age 8-year-olds are invited to evaluate for the Minor League Division but are not guaranteed to be drafted (if not drafted into the Minor League Division, players will be placed in the Coach Pitch Division). Players who participate in this division will be eligible for all-star selection.

Majors: 11-12 year olds
"Player Pitch"
46' pitching mound and 60' base paths
League Age 10-year-olds are invited to evaluate for Majors but are not guaranteed to be drafted to Majors (if not drafted into the Majors division they will be drafted to a Minor League team). The goal of this division is help players adjust to a higher level and pace of play.
Players who participate in this division will be eligible for all-star selection.

Intermediate: 11-13 year olds
The Intermediate Baseball field dimensions are, as the name implies, between those of the traditional Little League diamond and a standard baseball diamond. With a pitching distance of 50 feet and base path distance of 70 feet. This is a great transitional field size for more advanced play before moving up to a standard diamond. Some of the advanced rules are used such as runners being permitted to lead off bases, runners may attempt to steal at any time, and allowing an on-deck batter.
Players must try out and be selected to the Intermediate level. If a player is not selected to play Intermediate, they will be chosen by a Majors or Juniors team depending on their age.
Players who participate in this division are eligible for all-star selection in their respective age groups.

Juniors: 13-14 year olds
The Juniors Baseball field dimensions are a full sized field, 90ft base paths, 60.6 inch pitching mound distance
Players who participate in this division are eligible for all-star selection

Seniors: 15-18
The Seniors Baseball field dimensions are a full sized field, 90ft basepaths, 60.6 inch pitching mound distance
Players who participate in this division are eligible for all-star selection

Please note- A player must try out and be selected to the Intermediate level. This level is played on a field with 70ft base paths and the pitching mound at 50ft. If a player is not selected to play Intermediate, they will be chosen by a Majors or Juniors team depending on their age.

All Stars- Players can apply to be selected to the All Star teams at the conclusion of the season. Player's can apply to be an All Star through this website. Players will be chosen based off of skill and availability. Players will need to plan to be available for practices and games between mid-June through mid-July.
