Roanoke City Little League was established in 2023 to serve the youth baseball programs of the city of Roanoke, Virginia. Our mission is a commitment to community through baseball with a desire to grow participation and elevate the quality of play citywide.

Sent two teams to the Little League state tournament. 10u all stars represented Roanoke in Abingdon, VA. 11u all stars represented Roanoke in Chestervfield, VA. The 11u all star team picked up the first state tournament victory in Roanoke City's history and advanced to the quarterfinals of the tournament.
Provided an All Star postseason which in turn gave our Roanoke City youth up to 50% more games and extended their season into July. All Star teams had representation from all quadrants of the City.
Partnered with Cave Spring Little League for cross-league play in Majors and Intermediate levels during regular season play for the first time in Roanoke City's history
Partnered with Patrick Henry High School to work with over 100 youth for Winter Baseball Clinics January - March.
Hosted Roanoke City’s first Fall Ball with over 125 children registered.
Held a city wide Opening Day at River's Edge Sports Complex, celebrating the start of the baseball and softball season. Mayor Sherman Lea and Councilwoman Stephanie Moon-Reynolds threw out the first pitches of the season
Held a Coach's Clinic with Ricky Gregg of "The Yard" in Salem to further educate and equip our coaches with best practices in working with our players
Raised compensation for umpires, and handled hiring and scheduling for each game at the Minors, Majors, Intermediate and Juniors Level
